For added protection and comfort, all four posts, upper rails, and baseboards are padded. Stained beds come with black padding, while white beds feature white padding. Custom padding colors are also available for an additional fee, which may extend production time.

Our Safe Place Permanent Bed was designed by Jonathon Smith, a registered nurse and father of Skyler, who has Angelman Syndrome. Jonathon discovered that Skyler slept best in enclosed spaces—a revelation that changed their family’s routine.
